Our trusted and proven methodology uses state-of-the-art devices designed by Sciton Medical. This novel equipment delivers BroadBand Light, also known as BBL, to remove unwanted hair. BBL is a unique permanent hair removal/reduction system that emits pulses of light into the hair follicles, where the energy is absorbed by the follicle’s pigment and converted to heat. This heat serves to loosen the hair and disable the cells which are responsible for growing new hair. Sciton’s hair removal system covers a much larger treatment area than traditional IPLs, spreading light over greater areas, and allowing for faster coverage and quicker treatment times. Excluding the eye area, nearly all parts of the body can benefit from BBL treatments. The upper lip, face, neck, underarms, bikini line, legs, chest, and back are typically treated in 5 to 7 treatments.
